These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Papers App Ltd, a company registered in Malta with registration number C112488 and registered office at Soho The Strand, Fawwara Building, Unit S099, Triq l-Imsida, Gzira, GZR 1401, Malta (hereinafter "Papers"). By accessing the website papers.mt and utilizing our digital platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Papers operates as a financial technology (fintech) and digital intermediary platform. It provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution for document management, onboarding, and business administration.
IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE: Papers App Ltd is NOT a licensed Company Service Provider (CSP) and does not hold a license from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) to provide regulated corporate services. Papers acts exclusively as a technology provider and digital intermediary between the Client and licensed professionals.
All regulated company formation services, fiduciary services, and other activities falling under the Company Service Providers Act or the Trusts and Trustees Act in Malta are provided exclusively by Zerafa Trustees Ltd. Zerafa Trustees Ltd is a limited liability company incorporated in Malta (C 97921) and is duly authorized and regulated by the MFSA to provide such services. Papers App Ltd facilitates the collection of Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and the digital onboarding process, but the final validation, legal incorporation, and regulated management are performed solely by Zerafa Trustees Ltd in compliance with Maltese law.
Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information. In accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering and Funding of Terrorism Regulations (PMLFTR), all users must undergo a mandatory identity verification process. Papers and its regulated partners reserve the right to refuse service or terminate any business relationship if KYC/AML requirements are not met to their satisfaction.
The content on papers.mt and any communication from Papers App Ltd staff do not constitute official legal, tax, or financial advice. We provide general information and a digital toolset for business management. Clients are strongly encouraged to seek independent professional advice for their specific situation.
Service fees for platform access and professional service packages are outlined on the website. Subscriptions for accounting or compliance support are billed periodically. Papers App Ltd acts as the billing agent for the technology platform, while regulated fees may be processed in coordination with our licensed partners.
To the maximum extent permitted by Maltese law, Papers App Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or delays in company formation caused by government registries or third-party banks. Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the technology service in the six months preceding the claim.
The "Papers" brand, logo, software, and all platform content are the exclusive property of Papers App Ltd. Unauthorized reproduction or reverse engineering is strictly prohibited.
Papers App Ltd is an official partner of Revolut Ltd and other financial institutions. We facilitate the introduction to banking services, but we do not guarantee the opening of any bank account. The final decision rests solely with the respective bank’s compliance department.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Malta. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malta.
